Amazon SES Integration for Email Marketing
Many Agile CRM users rely on Amazon Web Services as the backbone of their business, and many also use Amazon SES (Simple Email Service) to handle transactional emails and other marketing automation messages, but until now Agile and the popular email gateway weren’t truly integrated. Now it’s time to do more for less. We’re excited to announce a powerful new CRM integration with Amazon SES. Agile users can now easily use Amazon SES as their email gateway with the type of streamlined integration that our users have come to expect.
Amazon SES is a cost-effective email service built on “the reliable and scalable infrastructure that Amazon.com developed to serve its own customer base.” That’s no small matter, as Amazon’s growth and customer engagement are legendary around the world. Agile CRM shares the Amazon SES commitment to fighting spam and encouraging productive, effective email campaigns that improve both customer happiness and business growth.
To setup the Amazon SES integration, just go to Admin Settings > Integrations > Email Gateways and follow the instructions.
A few things to note:
- You’ll need to very email addresses in the “From” field. Note that for SES purposes, entire email addresses are case-sensitive (read more).
- Agile doesn’t queue your emails sent through SES, so please double-check your sending limits in Amazon SES.
- If you’re new to marketing automation, check out our video tutorials. They’ll help you launch your first campaign in minutes.
Agile CRM’s plugins and integrations make it easy to connect the apps you already rely on to run your business. Amazon SES integration is just the beginning. Have you added all of your favorite apps to your CRM account?

about 9 years agoIf we use Amazon SES, do we still have to pay you for each email sent? If yes, how much does it cost in addition to the Amazon SES charge?

about 9 years agoHi Mike, thanks for your question. Amazon SES integration is currently available in Enterprise accounts. Emails sent through Amazon SES cost $0.002 per email, in addition to the Amazon SES charge (same pricing as for our Mandrill or Sendgrid integrations). Hope that helps! Let us know if you have any more questions.
